The Iran-backed Houthi terrorist militia launched mortar attacks on Saturday targeting residential areas and villages in Qaatabah District, Al-Dhalea Governorate.
Local sources told September Net that the Houthi terrorist militia heavily shelled Al-Maazoub village and Al-Abhour area, located at the western entrance to Qaatabah city.
The sources said several shells fell near homes and residential neighborhoods, causing fear and panic among residents.
The shelling came a day after the Houthi terrorist militia targeted Habail Al-Salama and Habail Al-Souq schools in the Hajar area with explosive-laden drones.
Over the past two days, the Houthi terrorist militia also targeted a crowded market in the Al-Zubairiyat area, west of Qaatabah District, with mortar shells, injuring a civilian and damaging citizens’ property.
The Houthi terrorist militia continues its crimes against civilians by repeatedly and continuously targeting residential areas in Al-Dhalea Governorate and several other governorates, in repeated violations against civilians and civilian property, amid continued local and international calls for the protection of civilians.
