Houthi terrorist militias shelled two vehicles carrying civilians on the main road linking Maris and Damt in northern Dhale’a Governorate on Sunday, injuring three passengers, including a woman.

Local sources told September Net that a mortar shell fired by the militias directly struck the two vehicles as they were carrying passengers traveling from Sana’a to the temporary capital Aden through the Maris area.

The injured were taken to a hospital in Maris for medical treatment. Two of them sustained serious injuries and were later transferred to Aden for further treatment.

The attack caused panic among passengers and other road users, who suddenly found themselves under fire, according to eyewitnesses.

The incident is part of the Houthi militias’ ongoing attacks against civilians and their repeated targeting of public roads, putting the lives of civilians at risk and threatening their right to safe movement.
