Ministerial Committee for Institutional Reforms Holds Its First Meeting In Aden

The Ministerial Committee for Institutional Reform held its first meeting today, Sunday, in the temporary capital Aden, chaired by the Prime Minister Dr. Shaya Zindani, the Chairman of the committee.

The meeting devoted to discuss the committee’s action plan and the mechanisms for carrying out its tasks, within the government’s approach to unleash an integrated national drive for reforming and modernizing state institutions, ameliorating their efficiency and strengthening their ability to functioning effectively .

The meeting reviewed the committee’s top priorities, the proposed methodology for applying the institutional reform program and committee’s executive role in moving from the stage of planning to actual implementation, monitoring results and submitting regular reports on progress, challenges and the needed solutions.

The Prime Minister asserted that institutional reform is very necessary to restore the effectiveness of the state and its institutions, enable them to do their duties and manage their resources efficiently and improve the basic services.
