Planning Minister Meets with British Ambassador

Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Mohammed al-Faqmi met with the United Kingdom’s Ambassador to Yemen Abda Sharif.

He discussed with her bilateral cooperation, development priorities and British support for institutional reform, capacity building, and governance.

The two sides also discussed the government’s National Development and Economic Recovery Plan, the transition from humanitarian aid to sustainable development and Yemen’s urgent humanitarian needs.

The ambassador reaffirmed the United Kingdom’s continued support for Yemen.

Both sides agreed to maintain communication and strengthen joint efforts to advance economic recovery and development.
