Foreign Minister Discusses With Her Kuwaiti Counterpart Bilateral Relations

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Afrah al-Zouba, held talks today, Monday, with the Kuwaiti Foreign Minister, Sheikh Jarrah Jaber al-Ahmad al-Sabah over bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries, the situation in Yemen and issues of common interest.

Al-Zouba expressed deep gratitude and thanks to the State of Kuwait and its people for their generous and ongoing support for Yemen over decades in political, developmental and humanitarian fields.

She also reiterated the full solidarity of the Republic of Yemen with the State of Kuwait and the Gulf Cooperation Council member states against Iranian attacks.

The Kuwaiti Foreign reiterated his country’s firm stance in supporting the Presidential Leadership Council and the Yemeni government, as well as Yemen’s unity, sovereignty and territorial integrity.

He also reaffirmed Kuwait’s support for all efforts aimed to end the suffering of the Yemeni people and continuing developmental and humanitarian support for them.

The two ministers agreed to review the agreements, memorandums of understanding, and cooperation frameworks established between the two countries, update and reactivate them to boost diplomatic , economic and developmental cooperation in to serve the shared interests of both countries.
