Armed Forces Fully Liberate Hays District from Houthi Militia Control and Secure Its Rural Areas

The Armed Forces on Saturday fully liberated Hays District in Hodeidah Governorate from the control of the Iran-backed Houthi terrorist militia, after recapturing and securing the district’s rural areas.

A military source explained that while Hays city had already been liberated, parts of the district’s rural areas remained under Houthi terrorist militia control until the Armed Forces liberated and fully secured all the remaining rural areas on Saturday.

The source noted that the Armed Forces recaptured areas around Al-Barah Junction and advanced toward Houthi militia positions, forcing militia members to withdraw and flee, with dozens reportedly killed or injured in the fighting.

The source confirmed that the Armed Forces continue to secure the liberated areas and consolidate their positions following the completion of the liberation of Hays District.
