Minister of Planning Participates in Fourth Yemen-EU Partnership Days in Amman

Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Mohammed al-Faqmi took part today, Monday, in the opening of the fourth Yemen-European Union Partnership Days, held in the Jordanian capital, Amman.

The gathering included the EU Ambassador to the Republic of Yemen Patrick Simonnet, the ambassadors and representatives of EU member states, and a number of development partners and international organizations.

Al-Faqmi cited the priorities of the government program, efforts for economic and institutional reform, and the economic, social and reconstruction development plan for the years 2027-2029 that the government is working on preparing.

He also called on the European Union to adopt it as a reference for upcoming cooperation programs, and to enhance coordination through existing mechanisms and share project data with the ministry..

The two-day meeting program includes several sessions and discussions between the Yemeni and European sides and development partners about areas of joint cooperation and priorities for the next phase.
