Saudi Arabia Reaffirms Full Support for Yemeni Government to Restore State Authority

Saudi Arabia has reaffirmed its full support, through the Coalition to Support Legitimacy, for the Yemeni government’s efforts to extend its authority across the entire country and restore stability.

The pledge was made by Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in the annual royal address, delivered on behalf of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud during the opening of the third year of the ninth session of the Shura Council.

The Crown Prince also affirmed Saudi Arabia’s resolve to confront attacks by the terrorist Houthi militias, which he said had chosen chaos, destruction, and threats to the Yemeni people and the region as their path.
