Al-Muharrami Meets Prime Minister to Discuss Government Priorities

Presidential Leadership Council Member Abdulrahman al-Muharrami met today in Aden with Prime Minister Dr. Shaya Zindani to discuss the general situation, government priorities, and efforts to address challenges and improve public services and living conditions.

The meeting reviewed services in Aden and the liberated governorates, particularly electricity, water, health, education and sanitation, as well as measures to ensure their continuity and improve performance.

They also discussed the humanitarian situation amid Houthi escalation and growing displacement, stressing the need to strengthen the government’s response and provide displaced people with healthcare, food and other basic needs in coordination with international organizations and humanitarian partners.

The talks also covered military and security developments, economic and financial conditions, and measures to strengthen state institutions and stabilize markets.

Al-Muharrami stressed prioritizing essential services and humanitarian needs, directing available resources toward basic needs, and strengthening coordination between the Presidential Leadership Council, the government, ministries and local authorities.

Prime Minister Zindani reaffirmed the government’s commitment to implementing its plans to improve services, address economic and humanitarian challenges, and strengthen the performance of state institutions.
