Six Civilians Killed, Four Injured by Houthi Militias Attacks on Villagers in Taiz

Six villagers were killed and four wounded among them women and children by Iran-backed terrorist Houthi militias’ attacks on the residential villages in the districts of al-Mawasit, al-Misrakh and Qadas southern Taiz governorate.

Local sources told the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) a woman was killed and four civilians injured among them a child and two women due to Houthi militias shelling on the villages of Addowm, Hagrah and al-Manawed in the area of Bani Youef in the district of al-Mawasit.

A villager, named Derhim Ahmed Amir was reported to have been killed along with his wife, daughter, his daughter-in law and her two children by mortar’s shell fired by the Houthi militiamen on the family’s house in the village of Asserm, in al-Mesrakh district.

Locals reported that several villages in the area of Qadas have continued to be under constant shelling by the Houthi militants. Dozens of the villagers are reported to have suffered injuries and aren’t allowed to be moved to hospitals for medical treatment. The militiamen have imposed blockade on the villages.
