Taiz: Armed Forces Deal Painful Blows to Houthi Terrorist Militia on Several Fronts

The Yemeni Armed Forces, backed by the popular resistance, continue to engage in fierce clashes with the Iran-backed Houthi terrorist militia on several fronts in Taiz Governorate as part of “Dawn of Yemen” operation.
Over the past few hours, fighting has been concentrated on the Al-Shuqb and Alaqroud fronts southeast of the city, and in Jabal Habashi to the west.The Houthi militia has sustained heavy casualties and material losses.
Army units repelled an attack by the Houthi militia on their positions on the Al-Shuqb front, inflicting heavy losses in personnel and equipment. More than 25 militia members were killed and others wounded.
Meanwhile, units of the armed forces and the popular resistance carried out carefully planned ambushes targeting Houthi militia members on the Almisrakh and Al-Birain fronts in the south of the city, as well as in Jabal Habashi to the west. The ambushes left dozens of militia members dead or wounded.
At the same time, drones operated by the Taiz Axis provided air support to the armed forces during the clashes, targeting militia members, weapons, and reinforcements. The forces also shot down a Houthi militia suicide drone east of Taiz city.
Warplanes belonging to the armed forces carried out airstrikes on a gathering of Houthi militia members in Samea District, east of the governorate. They also struck other militia positions and an artillery piece deployed in the Maslaqa area of Jabal Habashi District to the west.
In addition, the warplanes conducted three airstrikes against Houthi militia positions and gatherings on the Alaqroud and Jabal Samea fronts, as part of the armed forces’ air support operations across Taiz’s various battlefronts.
