The Yemeni Armed Forces have carried out 2,200 precision strikes against the Houthi terrorist militia as part of the ongoing “Dawn of Yemen” operation, using fighter jets, drones, field artillery, rocket launchers and sniper units.

In a statement, the official spokesperson for the Armed Forces, Colonel Majed Al-Nuzili, said preliminary field assessments indicated that approximately 1,200 militia members had been neutralized and more than 440 military vehicles, equipment and other assets destroyed or damaged across various operational sectors.

Al-Nuzili noted that the Armed Forces had continued to develop their offensive operations on the eastern and southern fronts, making field advances under intense fire support. The strikes focused on dismantling the enemy’s defensive system by targeting command and control centers, fortifications and firing positions, observation and reconnaissance posts, assembly areas and reserve deployment points, weapons and ammunition depots, transport and supply vehicles, and high-value military targets deep within enemy territory.

In Taiz, the strikes destroyed convoys and reinforcements belonging to the terrorist militia, dispersed its troop concentrations and undermined its ability to reinforce its positions and reorganize its forces.

Meanwhile, military engineering units on the western front continue to clear recaptured positions and areas of mines and explosive devices planted by the militia. They are also securing roads and routes to protect civilians and facilitate their return.

He affirmed that the strikes targeted legitimate military objectives and were conducted in accordance with international humanitarian law, including the principles of distinction and proportionality and the requirement to take the necessary precautions.
