AT least 45 Houthi militants killed, injured in clashes with National Army in Sa’ada

At least 45 elements in the Iran-backed Houthi militia were killed and wounded on Saturday during clashes with National Army forces in the west of Sa’ada province, northern Yemen.

The clashes broke out after a group of Houthi militiamen attempted to sneak into some sites they lost in the past two months in Bani Ma’een and al-Athnab areas in Razih District.

The National Army troops thwarted the militia’s infiltration attempt and forced them to flee.

In Parallel, the Army forces launched artillery shelling on combat reinforcements and gatherings of Houthi militia in the said areas.

The battles resulting in the killing of 18 Houthi militants and wounding 27 others and also destroying a number of their combat vehicles.
