Several Houthi rebels including senior leader killed in Taiz

Several elements of the Iran-backed Houthi militia including a ground leader were killed on Saturday in clashes with Yemeni armed forces in the northeast of Taiz province, southwest of the country.

Fierce clashes broke out in Al-Zahra and Safa positions after the Houthi rebels attempted to infiltrate army’s sites, but were failed.

A number of Houthi militants were killed including the ground leader and supervisor known as Abu Mujahid.
