Yemen ambassador discusses bilateral relations with Japanese assistant

Yemen’s Ambassador in Tokyo, Adel Al-Sunaini, met with the Japanese Assistant Foreign Minister, Hayashi Katsuyoshi, to discuss strengthening bilateral relations. They talked about the latest developments in Yemen and ways to improve their relationship.

Ambassador Al-Sunaini highlighted the efforts of the Presidential Leadership Council to establish peace and improve basic services for Yemen’s citizens. He appreciated the ongoing support from the Japanese government.

He expressed Yemen’s desire for increased support to help with recovery, economic stability, and service provision.

The Japanese official reaffirmed their support for Yemen and the UN’s efforts to achieve lasting peace and end the suffering of Yemeni people.
