Defense Minister Lt. Gen. Mohssen al-Da’iri met with Dutch Ambassador Jennette Seppen to discuss the ongoing terrorist threats to maritime navigation in the Red Sea by the Houthi rebels.

General al-Da’iri emphasized the need to support Yemen’s internationally recognized government and its armed forces in defeating the Houthi militias to establish stability.

Ambassador Seppen reiterated her country’s support for sustainable peace in Yemen and condemned the Houthi attacks in the Red Sea and Bab-el Mandeb.
