Marib security forces seized 70 kg of hashish narcotics Sunday, in a Hilux vehicle arriving from Houthi terrorist militia-controlled areas.
A security source told September Net that the drugs, intercepted by a checkpoint manned by Special Security Forces in Marib, were carefully concealed.
The source clarified that the confiscated shipment was transferred to the relevant authorities. He indicated that this operation resulted from the continuous security efforts and high vigilance of security personnel in the province.
The source stated that this operation proves the Houthi terrorist militia now export hashish and captagon pills to neighboring countries, attempting to flood Yemen with narcotics.
The source affirmed that security personnel in Marib remain the protective shield and the force against all sabotage, smuggling and terrorism attempts.
