Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) Member Abdulrahman al-Muharrami received Interior Minister Major General Ibrahim Haidan to review the latest security developments across the liberated governorates and assess ongoing efforts to strengthen security and stability.
During the meeting, the Interior Minister briefed al-Muharrami on the ministry’s activities, the performance of security agencies in the liberated governorates, and the principal challenges currently facing the security sector.
Al-Muharrami was also updated on the work of the Higher Administrative Committee tasked with documenting, organizing and evaluating the Ministry of Interior’s human resources.
He commended the committee’s efforts to integrate security units, regulate organizational structures, and unify financial, administrative and operational frameworks, describing these measures as essential to enhancing institutional performance, improving administrative efficiency, and raising levels of discipline and operational readiness.
The meeting also reviewed measures to combat terrorism, organized crime and smuggling, while discussing ways to strengthen coordination and cooperation among the various security agencies in support of public security and stability.
Al-Muharrami stressed the need to reinforce security operations and enhance coordination among the relevant authorities to address current security challenges and preserve the security gains achieved.
