Foreign Minister Delivers Message from President al-Alimi to Chinese President

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Afrah al- Zouba handed over a written message today, Thursday from His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) to the Chargé d’ Affaires at the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in the Republic of Yemen.

The message, addressed to His Excellency President Xi Jinping of the People’s Republic of China, concerns the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries, prospects for enhancing cooperation and issues of mutual interest.

Al-Zouba conferred with the Chinese diplomat over the ongoing developments in Yemen and the region, the Houthi escalation against civilians, civilian facilities and international navigation, and the importance of supporting Yemeni state institutions and implementing international legitimacy resolutions to contribute toward achieving security and stability in Yemen and the region.
