The Interior Ministry said Houthi militias targeted two Coast Guard facilities in Aden with three ballistic missiles on Saturday afternoon.

The ministry’s General Directorate of Moral Guidance and Public Relations said two missiles struck the Coast Guard headquarters at the ministry’s headquarters in the interim capital, Aden, while a third targeted the Coast Guard building in Al-Tawahi district.

In a statement, the directorate said the attack was part of a series of assaults on civilian and vital facilities in Aden, including repeated ballistic missile and drone attacks on Aden International Airport.

The statement said the attacks aim to undermine security and stability, terrorize civilians and damage public institutions and essential service facilities.

It added that the relevant authorities were gathering information and evidence to assess the damage and taking necessary measures to strengthen security and stability in Aden and protect civilians and public facilities.
