Yemen, Cuba officials discuss situations in Yemen

Yemen’s Ambassador to Cuba Mohammad Saleh Nasher met with Cuban Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs in Havana on Wednesday.

The two officials discussed situations development in Yemen since Houthi rebels coup on the legitimate government and their plots for failing Stockholm agreement.

He reaffirmed government’s support to efforts of the UN envoy to Yemen for realizing peace on the bases of the three references; the GCC Initiative, the outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference and UN Resolution 2216.

For her part, the Cuban official confirmed her country’s keenness on improving ties with Yemen and support to the government and its efforts for realizing peace, hoping more cooperation and coordination for serving joint interests.
