KSrelief Center launches food baskets distribution to 16000 families
King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center launched Thursday distribution of food baskets to 16000 families in six Yemeni provinces.
The project is carried out by Yemeni Network Nama’a for Civil Organization.
It aims to give out 16068 food parcels to the displaced and affected persons as well as the most vulnerable category in the provinces of Taiz, Aden, Marib, Al-Jawf, Shabwa and Hodeida.
At the inauguration, deputy governor of Shabwa Abdulkawi Lamrob, stressed the significance of such humanitarian and relief projects especially in the country’s ongoing difficult situations, praising aid efforts of KSrelief Center to help relieve suffering of Yemeni people.
For his part, Assistant Secretary General of Nama’a Moneer Al-Ameri, said the Center will continue to carry out a number of relief projects in cooperation with the Network during the holy month of Ramadan.
Adel Al-Fayad, the project coordinator in Shabwa also pointed out that 1800 food baskets will be handed out to 1800 displaced and most needy families in different districts of the province.
