The Yemeni Network for Rights and Freedoms unveiled in a report on Monday 180 Houthi abuses against civilians over the past 16 days.
The abuses took place in different parts of the country in the period spanning from 1-16 April 2020, said the report.
“The observers team documented 36 murders of civilians among them are 11 women and 11 children … in Taiz, Ibb, Hodeidah, Al-Bayda, Dhale, Marib, Hajjah, and Sana’a” cities.
Six of the victims were shot dead by Houthi snipers, the report found.
“The field observers documented six killing cases by direct fire shooting, four cases by burning, two cases by landmine the militia had planted …”
The report said the Houthis re-named 35 schools after the militia’s slain warlords and freed 200 prisoners in Ibb only to draft them into the warfronts.”
