Yemen participates in Arab committee’s meeting on human rights

The Republic of Yemen has participated in the meetings of the Fiftieth Round of Arab Permanent Committee for Human Rights are being held here on July 27,28/2022.

Deputy Minister of Human Rights for Partnership Sector and International Cooperation Nabil Abdulhafeez headed Yemen’s delegation participating in the meetings.

The committee approved recommendations associated with Israeli discrimination practices in Arab Occupied Territories and against Arab prisoners in Israeli prisons.

According to Arab League’s by-law, the Arab Committee is entrusted with following up human rights issues in Arab World under the sponsorship of Arab League’s Ministerial Council.
