The Minister of Local Administration and Chairman of the Higher Relief Committee, Abdulraqib Fatah, said that, the Higher Committee for Relief has been in contact with the relevant authorities to release the relief locomotives allocated to the province of Albayda and facilitate the passage and ensure access to the province.

“The Higher Relief Committee is coordinating and communicating with all donors to provide relief and humanitarian assistance to all the Yemeni people in all governorates of the Republic. The Higher Committee for Relief welcomes all these assistance due to the difficult situation experienced by most of the people”, the official Saba news agency reported.

“The Higher Relief Committee is in contact with all donors and international organizations at home to deliver aid to its beneficiaries and is working hard to deliver aid to the provinces under the control of the militia from its responsibility to all the people of Yemen”, he added.

The Minister of Local Administration urged all parties at home to work to facilitate the passage of relief convoys because the humanitarian need is above all considerations, and the humanitarian duty requires everyone to work to facilitate the passage of trucks and convoys of relief.

He also appreciated the efforts exerted by the brothers in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries to provide relief and humanitarian assistance to the Yemeni people, stressing that all these efforts are appreciated and respected by the Yemeni government and people.
