SeptemberNet- At least 10 of the militia elements were killed and others injured during fierce fighting on Thursday north of the district of Al-Madharibah west of the province of Lahj.

The fierce battles broke out after an attack by the militia on the positions of the national army in the mountains of Khabob north of the district of Al-Madharibah, military sources confirmed.

The national army forces managed to capture 7 members of the militia, wounding four others, and the rest of the attackers fled, the same sources told septembernet correspondent.

The sources pointed out that the militia launched an attack on the positions of the national army early in the morning, but the army forces were on the lookout and responded to these attacks after the battles used for light weapons, medium and heavy weapons.
