Violent battles erupted on Sunday between National Army forces and militia insurgents in Khab Al-Shaif district east of Al-Jawf province.

Manae Al-Abasi, Lieutenant in NA, told September Net that heavy battles broke out between NA and rebels in Al-Khanger front of Khab Al-Shaif district.

Scores of coup militants were killed and injured during the clashes.
