15 militias killed including leaders in clashes with NA in Taiz

The National Army forces were engaged in heavy confrontations with the Houthi-Saleh militias in Maqbana district on Wednesday, killing 15 elements of the coup militias, including two senior leaders, western Taiz province.

Military sources told September Net that fierce battles took place in several areas of Maqbana district, accompanied by artillery shelling, between the army forces and the Houthi-Saleh militias, pointing out that the army forces managed to repel and foil the militias’ attack, and forced them to retreat and flee.

Fighting resulted in killing 15 of the militias, including two field leaders known as Abu al-Ezz and Abu Ali al-Shami, and dezons others were wounded.

In parallel, the national army artillery destroyed a vehicle loaded with weapons and ammunition belonging to the militia.

In the meantime, the warplanes of the Arab coalition launched several raids targeted positions and gatherings of the militias in Haifan directorate, causing deaths and injuries among the militia coup.
