At least 20 Houthi militants were killed and tens other wounded on Friday after heavy clashes with the national army forces in Hajjah province north western the country.

The media center of the 5th military zone said that the army forces managed to ward off an attack launched by the coup militias targeting army’s positions in the coastal city of Medi, adding that the militias’ failed attack followed by heavy battles lasted for more than five hours and resulted in killing over 20 militants and wounding dozens other.

In parallel, the Saudi-led Arab Coalition warplanes launched at least seven airstrikes targeting positions and reinforcements belonging to the coup militias in the same district, leaving a number of killed and wounded in addition to losses in equipment.
