National Army continues to advance in Makbanah district western Taiz province, achieving on Tuesday new victories and liberating significant locations from the control of Houthi coup militias.

The Deputy spokesman of Taiz axis Colonel Abdullbaset Albahr said that the army troops fought heavy battles with the Houthi militias in Makbanah, retaking control over the hilltops of Albrkanah and Aseelah in Al-Akhlood area as well as the strategic mountain of Al-Aweed .

“The liberated mountain of Al-Aweed overlooks the areas of Al-Akhlood and Alhesn, which became under the fire of the army troops”, Col. Albahr added

The rebels Houthi militias suffered a number of killed and wounded in addition to major losses in military equipment.

Large reinforcements of Houthi insurgents were sent to the west front of Taiz, but were defeated and suffered heavy losses in life and supplies, according to local sources.
