National Army troops, supported by air cover from Arab coalition jets, continued its advancement on Sunday against the Houthi coup militia south of Hodeidah, western the country.

Military sources said to September Net that army advanced at ‘Al-Husaineyah’ and marched forward reaching areas beyond ‘Al-Haj’ araa and Al-Husaineyah’s junction.

The troops are involved in fierce battles with the militia at ‘Kadbah’ area, some 5km away of Hodeidah city’s airport, in Al-Duraihemi district, sources added.

“Tens of Houthi rebels were killed and injured, while others were captured.”

Arab coalition jets and Apache launched intensive air raids targeting reinforcements and concentrations of the rebels militia in ‘Barzea’ Farm and in Zabid-Al-Tahaita route line, killing more than 80 of them and wounding dozens others.
