The security services of Marib province seized on Thursday night a new shipment of cannabis abroad a ‘Santa fe’ car on its way the Houthi militia.

The Department of Marib Police confirmed that the shipment contained 115 kilograms of Afghani cannabis ( Hashish), and that it was captured by the security forces at a checkpoint on Marib-Sana’a road.

The Director General of Marib Police, Brigadier Abdulmalek Al-Madani, praised the high security alertness of the security services in Marib, and their continuous successes in capturing the criminal and outlaw gangs involved in smuggling operations and collaborating with the Houthi rebels.

The security forces in the province of Marib have recently thwarted several attempts to smuggle cannabis, weapons, Iranian expired medicines, and fake money that were all on their way to the putschist Houthi militias.
