Sa’ada … Army forces liberate new areas in Baqem
National Armed forces managed to regain control over new positions from the control of Houthi coup militias in Baqem district northern Sa’ada province on Thursday.
The military staff of Alab axis and Commander of 9th Infantry Brigade, Major Brigadier Adeep Alshehap confirmed that the army forces liberated the village of “al-Bostan” and the surrounded farms and hilltops after fierce battles against Houthi coup militias in the southeast of the center of Baqem.
Scores of militia elements were killed and wounded and also a number of their combat vehicles were destroyed during the battles while the army forces found weapons depot belongs to the rebels in a water well in the liberated area.
Alshehap pointed out that the engineering teams of the army removed large quantities of mines and explosive devices planted by Houthi militia in farms and main roads.
