The government forces with backing from the Arab Coalition have been “committed to the peace agreement struck with the Houthi militia in Stockholm’since it was declared on 13 December, a government representative said on Wednesday.

Maj. Gen. Sagheer Azeez the head of the government’s representatives in the joint Redeployment Coordination Committee(RCC) chaired by Retired Dutch General Patrick Cammaert said the government forces observed the agreement upon the directives of President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi.

Azeez and his fellows attended an RCC discussion held in Hodeidah flash point city on Wednesday to design a mechanism for monitoring the implementation of the ceasefire deal agreed upon on 18 December.
