520 breaches committed by Houthi militia in Hodeida killed 40 civilians, says Army Spokesman

Spokesman of the Armed Forces Brig. Gen. Abdu Mojalli said Houthi militia violated the cease-fire truce in Hodeida 520 times since the truce commenced in December 18, 2018.

In a press release he held in Marib city on Thursday, Mojalli said ” The militia’s hostile attacks resulted in killing 40 people and wounding 325 more.”

“Houthis refused to withdraw it’s militias from Hodeida city and seaports, and the militia’s claim about withdrawal was just a stage play,” Mojalli said.

He cited the militia’s continuous violations against Yemeni people including killing 7 civilians in Hajjah province, and killing a passenger female by shelling on a bus in al-Bayda province.

Mojalli stated that Iran-backed Houthi putschist militia is continuing child recruitment and taking them from their schools to the battle fronts.

The Spokesman pointed that National Army, backed by Arab coalition, captured Al-Hamra’ mountains range in Baqim of Sa’ada province, and is maintaining their progress in Barat-Alanan in Al-Jawf. He said the army thwarted all the militia’s infiltration attempts in Serwah western Marib city, and made advancements in Damt in Al-Dhale.

He explained that the national army have extracted large quantities of mines and explosive devices planted by the Houthi militia in several liberated areas.

He confirmed that the Yemeni army captures terrorist elements in Wadi Hadramout during a successful military operation, pointing out that the army shot down 7 drones belonging to the militia in multiple fronts.
