16 elements in the Houthi coup militias were killed and wounded on Thursday during clashes with army forces in Makbanah district in the west of Taiz province.

The commander of Makbanah front said to September Net the clashes erupted after the Houthi militants tried to sneak into the positions of the army in the mountains of ” Sabri and al-Aweed”, but were beaten and forced to flee.

Col. Hameed Alkholaidi confirmed, at least 5 Houthi rebels were killed and 11 others wounded during the fighting.
