Police in Taiz launched on Sunday Security Strategy action for 2019,  with presence of senior local and  security and military officials of the province.

The Security Strategy will include  training and qualifying cadres, finalizing preparing security premises so that all departments be able to perform its security duties competently and effectively, said Chief of Taiz Police Brigadier Mansour al-Akhali.

Brig. al-Akhali noted to underway efforts for setting up integrated database for security, rehabilitating command and operations rooms and boosting coordination between bodies of Criminal Investigation Department.

For his part, Taiz Under-secretary Governor Dr. Abdulkawi al-Mekhlafi said in the opening word that the role of State institutions has been restored in the city thanks first of all to the Security services and its affiliates, who have been continuously working with determination on rebuilding security system despite all hardships and circumstances they faced.
