Minister of Defense Lt. Gen Mohammed Ali Al-Makdashi met Sunday  with American military attaché in the U.S. embassy to our country Colonel Brad Ghandi.

The meeting touched upon cooperation and coordination between our country and the United States of America in military and security capacity-building and forces of fighting terrorism.

The Defense Minister praised the American support to the legal government under President Hadi, noting the deep-rooted relations between the two states in various areas.

The American Colonel handed over a condolences letter to the Lt. Gen. Al-Makdashi on the death of Deputy Chief of Staff Mai. Gen. Saleh Al-Zandani, who was martyred in a Houthi terrorist drone attack on Al-Anad base last month.
