Army removes hundreds of mines laid by militia in Hodeidah

Army’s demining units have carried out a large-scale campaign to remove mines and improvised explosive devices planted by the Houthi militia in Hodeidah Province.

The operation took place in several farms in Tohyata district, south of the province, and hundreds of mines were cleared.

Houthi militia’s mines have resulted in hundreds of civilian casualties, most of them women and children.
