Defense Ministry inaugurates the 1st conference of operations heads in the national army units

Defense Minister Lieutenant-General Mohammad Ali Al-Maqdashi, on Sunday inaugurated the first conference of heads of operations in the regions and units of the armed forces under the slogan “Raising the combat efficiency of the national army.”

The conference, which will last from April 28 to May 3, will discuss raising combat readiness among all units and formations of the national army, as well as discussing military tasks in planning, commanding and investigating information.

During the opening ceremony, Defense Minister Lieu. Gen. Mohammad Ali Al-Maqdashi wished the conference success and good results. He pointed out that the operations are the dynamo of the armed forces at all levels of brigades and military units.

The defense minister stressed that the hope is great and it is the responsibility of the armed forces to rid the country of the nightmare of the coup.

The issue is the fate of a country that we all bear, not linked to anyone, that the coup project will end, and that all we care about is the reform of the armed forces, as directed by the President of the Republic, he added.

All the leaders and members of the National Army to show the military culture and loyalty to the homeland first, and that the tasks are very large, bad in peace or in war, he stressed.

For his part, the director of the national army’s military Department, Maj. Gen. Khalid Al-Ashool, confirmed that this first conference of heads of operations of the armed forces comes in pursuance of the directives of the Defense Minister,  and pursuant to the organizational instructions of the Chief of Staff and the operational training plan for the 2019 training year.

The conference aims to raise the combat efficiency of the national army to enable it to perform and carry out its tasks efficiently and efficiently to end the coup and complete the liberation and the return of legitimacy, he explained.

Al-Ashoul pointed out that this conference, which includes a selection of leaders of the national army, has a scientific qualification, military expertise and a will that does not have limits in capacity.

He hoped that everyone will come out of this conference by solutions to all the problems and obstacles that hinder the management of their work.
