National Army, backed by popular resistance of Al-Hamikan early on Wednesday, fought  fierce confrontations with the Houthi militias in Al-Zaher district, south of Al-Baydha province.

The army and resistance launched a large-scale attack on the militia site in Al-Hamikan, using all types of heavy, medium and light weapons.

The attack focused on the positions of the militia in Al-Jamajem, Haid Al-Dirwah and Haid Al-Mal mountains in Al-Hamikan, Al-Zaher district.

The attack was followed by clashes that are still raging in the meantime, with army troops from Al-Amalikah brigades and resistance with the militia.

In the meantime, the militia indiscriminately shelled villages and residential areas with artillery and heavy machine guns.
