National army forces have taken control over new areas and positions in the southwestern province of Al-Dhale on Sunday.

The national army, backed by resistance, took control over the locations of Karha, Kahoush, Al-Hamra’ and Al-Khazan Hills, Al-Daraja post, Al-Kafla, Shakhap and Dar Alsaid areas, west and north of Qataba district, Captain Eyad Al-Ja’adi told September Net.

Al-Ja’adi said fighting resulted in killing and wounding several Houthi rebels, and the recapture of combat vehicles for the army.

He confirmed the national army is making advances in the areas of Hajar, Saleem and Al-Fakher in the region of Al-Aud.

In the same context, a Houthi leader killed four Houthi militia elements including senior leader, on Saturday in Al-Hasha district, west of Al-Dhale.
