The Saudi air defense forces early on Wednesday, dropped a weaponized drone launched by the Houthi militia towards the kingdom.

The spokesman for the coalition forces supporting the legitimacy in Yemen, Col. Turki Al-Maliki said that, the weaponized drone was monitored by the Houthi militia from the province of Hodeidah and intercepted over the airspace in the province of Hajja before entering Saudi airspace.

Al-Maliki stressed the right of the joint forces of the coalition to take and implement appropriate measures to deal with these hostile and terrorist acts, in accordance with international and humanitarian law and customary rules.
