The military engineering teams managed to extract dozens of hand-made landmines planted by Houthi militia in Baqem district in the north of Sa’ada province.
The commander of the engineering teams Haroon al-Sofi stated to September Net that the teams managed to remove 20 individual mines.
He said “Iran-backed Houthi militia has developed individual mines by covering them with plastic, so it becomes difficult to detect and also delays the work of the engineering teams.”
The engineering teams of the national army in Alab military axis north Sa’ada removed, within two years, hundreds of mines and improvised explosive devices and cleared large areas from Houthis’ mines in Baqem district.
