A civilian was killed on Tuesday in a landmine explosion planted by the Houthi militia in Al-Durayhimi district in the south of Hodeidah province.
The civilian Mahjoob Hassan Mahjoob was on the way home, then a mine planted by Houthi rebels exploded near his house, killing him immediately, local sources said to September Net.
Houthi-laid landmines have not only killed and maimed numerous civilians, but they have prevented vulnerable Yemenis from harvesting crops and drawing clean water desperately needed for survival.
