National army destroys 5000 Houthi-laid landmines in Hajjah

National army forces on Friday have destroyed 5000 landmines and improvised explosive devices left behind by the Iran-backed Houthi militia in Yemen’s northern province Hajjah and across the Yemeni-Saudi border line.
The destruction of these Houthi-laid explosives comes within a major operation has been launching by the national army forces aiming at removing and cleansing all landmines and explosive devices laid widely and randomly by the Houthi rebel militia in various vital civilian and populated areas.
The Iran-backed Houthi militia deliberately plants landmines and improvised explosive devices in public roads, schools and residential areas, resulting in the death of hundreds of civilians most of them women and children.
