The national army forces on Monday, made strategic progress in the Mawiya district northeast of Taiz province, southwest of the country.

The military forces were able to take control of Shuqan Junction, Al-Madina and Tasan locations, and Al-Farasha Mountain, as well as control of the mountain hills overlooking the Huwaida village in the Mawiya district.

National army forces continue to advance amid heavy collapses in the ranks of the Houthi militia.

The clashes resulted in the killing and injuries among the Houthi militia, while the army captured 15 of its elements.
