A truck driver was shot dead by elements of the Houthi militia in one of its checkpoints in the province of Al-Baydha.

Local sources told September Net that, the Houthi checkpoint intercepted a truck, derived by Abdullah Muthanna Al-Sulti, in Al-Sheria district, and demanded payment of money.

The citizen refused the request of the militia, and militia shot and killed him immediately, the sources said.

Two days ago, the Houthi militia had set up a checkpoint in the Al -Hussein area, of Al-Sheria district for the purpose of collecting money from transport trucks under the name of illegal taxes.
