A young man has died under torture in a Houthi militia’s prison in the capital Sana’a after he was severely beaten.

Al-Asemah online news website quoted local sources as saying “the young man Ayman al-Maqtari was tortured severely by elements of Houthi militia in the police department of Shumailah.

Al-Maqtari surrendered himself to the police station after a fight with other citizens in a bus station in Shamila south of the capital, according to the source.
