Army hinders Houthi militia’s infiltration south of Hodeidah

The national army, backed by the coalition for supporting legitimacy in Yemen, hindered on Sunday, an infiltration attempt by the Iran-backed Houthi rebel militia south of Hodeida province, in the west of the country.

Earlier of this day, elements of Houthi militia, attempted to sneak into the army positions in Hays district.

The national army forces forced the militia elements to retreat and flee, after suffering casualties in their ranks.

In the context, the Houthi rebel militia bombed the positions of the national army, north of Al-Tahita district, south of the province.

The Houthi militia continues to target the positions of the national army in the province of Hodeidah, while the army adheres to the UN truce, in accordance with the orders of the political and military leadership, aimed at bringing peace.
